Chiropractic Adjustments & the Olympics

Chiropractic Adjustments & the Olympics

During the recent Olympics in London, some of the American athletes had the benefit of receiving chiropractic adjustments and it showed.

A Florida-based chiropractor, along with 100 other chiropractors, was invited to join an array of American athletes for six days to help them prepare for their competitions at the Games.

The chiropractor worked on members of the U.S. weightlifting, Judo, and wrestling teams. Overall, those athletes brought home six medals. One of them was the first gold medal ever to be won by an American in Judo.

Was it a coincidence?

Probably not. The chiropractic adjustments given to the athletes before and after the competitions were believed to be part of what helped them to compete so well and win.

Even though most Americans can only dream of doing something as amazing as competing in an Olympic competition, it is worth noting that a few of the most successful athletes there received chiropractic adjustments that are provided by the average chiropractor.

If chiropractic adjustments can make that much of a difference with an Olympic athlete, think of how important those treatments could be to the average American. With 1 in 4 people complaining of back pain and the abundance of those who suffer from things like headaches and carpel tunnel syndrome, it’s worth noting how significant chiropractic adjustments are for not only athletes but for the everyday citizen as well.
